Culture in a Box
This project was very interesting and crucial for TGES.
This project was conceived at a time where TGES was strengthening its muscles for PBL and collaboration, cooperation and integration. This project was received with mixed feelings. A project in collaboration with a school in Korea which will host an exhibition of different cultures across the world. The culmination would be that we would exhibit the Korean culture to the TGES family.Unheard in TGES in previous academic years!!!
These were some of the challenges that we decided to answer as we took this challenge! We actually were able to pack country in these two boxes.
We had students work on following aspects:-
Project Indeed was deep learning for both schools and students were motivated throughout this project!!
The extension of this project is now Agriculture in a Box!!
Both schools have shared seed and expect to have small gardens in classrooms by September 2013!!
