There is a great series online called "What would you do?" This is a treasure trove of video clips of people being put into situations which often bring out the best (and worst) of human behaviour. These videos are used as "visual stimulus piece." It is a key way to help us make connections to the theories that they are learning in class, but it also adds to work on critical thinking skills.
There are three questions that I want each of you to answer:
Do you find the behaviour surprising in this video? Why or why not?
How could you apply theory to explain the behaviours of the different "participants" in this "study?"
Evaluate this "study." Was this a good study of human behaviour? If not, what would have to be done to make it a better study?
